Principal / Associate Electrical Engineer (Building Services)

We are seeking a Principal / Associate Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services team in Bristol or Cardiff. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading projects and working in a joint leadership capacity. The role involves providing design and technical advice, supervising the completion of detailed designs, and reviewing design programmes. The candidate will also be responsible for considering the feasibility of projects and leading overall feasibility studies. The team provides a range of engineering services, including mechanical, electrical, and public health engineering, and offers a strong forward workload and opportunities for career progression.

Requirements

• Proven track record in leading projects for a discipline and for an overall project team
• Ability to work using own initiative with minimal supervision on all technical aspects of the discipline
• Working understanding of latest electrical design software packages
• Ability to sketch and communicate technical detail graphically and effectively
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Ability to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC)
• BEng/Bsc/MEng in applicable engineering discipline
• CIBSE / IET / Engineering Council accredited honours degree or specific experience that will lead to Chartership
• Working towards I Eng or C Eng status
• RevitMEP training applied to the discipline
