Job Description
WSP Middle East is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Principal Consultant with a specialized background in façade design to join our Property and Building Business Unit in Sharjah, UAE.
Requirements
- Lead and manage facade projects
- Plan and lead all phases of facade design
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship
- Lead discussions with clients and deliver design solutions
- Prepare and present design proposals and project documentation
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices
- Understand structural engineering and building physics
- Experience with computational design (plus)
- Involved in construction projects
- Review shop drawings and prepare proposals
- Promote sustainability and innovation in facade design
