Principal Engineer (Roads)

We are seeking a Principal Engineer with extensive postgraduate experience in the design and project management of road schemes and active travel schemes to work in our Belfast office. The team is growing and offers excellent opportunities for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or another appropriate subject
• Incorporated or Chartered Status (AMIEI/MIEI or equivalent)
• Project management and technical delivery lead of Road or Public Transport/Active Travel schemes, with experience of Transport Infrastructure Ireland/National Transport Authority/Local Authority procedures essential
• Experience of contract document preparation or contract administration/site supervision using Public Works Contracts
• A chartered member of a relevant engineering technical institution
• Good communication, client management and interpersonal skills are essential
• Excellent IT skills including MS Projects
• Strong stakeholder management experience
