Job Description
WSP is seeking a Project Manager with a strong design and engineering background to manage the delivery of small to medium packages within the Mining team. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary engineering design teams, managing budgets, schedules, and scope, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management within mining, resources, or heavy industry environments
- Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline, with formal Project Management qualifications desirable
- Background in engineering or design management (civil, mechanical, electrical, or similar)
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering design teams
- Strong understanding of design delivery phases (concept, study, detailed design)
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, scope, and risk
- Confident stakeholder and client engagement skills
- Experience delivering consulting services within a professional services environment desirable
