As a Reliability (RAM) Engineer at WSP, you will provide RAM leadership and guidance to clients across rail infrastructure, rolling stock, and signalling projects. You will also be responsible for undertaking BS EN 50126 RAM activities, cross-collaborating with team members, and project managing staff and sub-contractors.
Requirements
- Degree in a technical engineering related discipline, or extensive relevant experience
- RAM engineering experience (rail desirable, but not essential)
- Corporate membership with an appropriate professional institution (e.g. SaRS, IET, IMechE)
- Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (or significant progression towards that goal)
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership to a team of RAM and Safety Engineers
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the application of the BS EN 50126 RAM activities throughout the life cycle of rail projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplined team
- Extensive knowledge and experience in a mainline or metro railway discipline, e.g. Signalling, Control Systems, Traction Power, Depots etc.
