Senior Civil Engineer - Land Development

Senior Civil Engineer - Land Development job at WSP in Edmonton, AB, Canada. Lead end-to-end delivery of land development projects, guide technical design, and champion sustainable design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a Civil Engineering Technology diploma
• 10+ years of progressive experience in land development design, preferably within Alberta municipalities
• Registered (or eligible for registration) with APEGA or ASET as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Professional Licensee (Engineering) (P.L. (Eng)), or Professional Technologist P.Tech.(Eng.) in Alberta
• Strong technical capabilities with Civil 3D and other design modeling tools (e.g., PCSWMM, HEC‐RAS, WaterCAD, EPANET)
• Deep understanding of the land development process, municipal standards, permitting processes, servicing strategies, and grading design best practices
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects with competing priorities
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply creative engineering solutions to real‐world challenges
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively as a team
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for project‐related travel
