Senior Electrical Engineer, Healthcare Buildings

As a Senior Electrical Engineer – Buildings (Healthcare) at WSP, you will lead the electrical design of complex healthcare facilities, develop power distribution systems, and collaborate with mechanical, structural, ICT, and architectural partners. You will also provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members and contribute to design innovation in energy efficiency and patient-centred care environments.

Requirements

• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience
• P.Eng. designation (or eligibility) in British Columbia
• Expertise in CSA Z32, CSA Z8000, and healthcare electrical systems best practices
• Strong proficiency with engineering design software and digital coordination tools (e.g., Revit, BIM 360)
• Demonstrated experience delivering multidisciplinary building projects from planning through construction
• Ability to guide teams, influence stakeholders, and build strong technical relationships
