Senior Environmental Project Manager

Senior Environmental Project Manager to provide strategic direction and oversee the successful delivery of environmental projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with sustainability and climate resilience objectives. Responsibilities include motivating and empowering multi-disciplinary teams, engaging proactively with senior clients and stakeholders, and promoting innovation and best practices.

Requirements

• Leadership in delivering standalone environmental projects and managing key environmental workstreams within large, multidisciplinary programmes by collaborating with engineering, planning and regulatory stakeholders, and ensuring accountability for environmental outcomes.
• Track record of successfully delivering complex environmental components as part of major infrastructure projects.
• Practical experience with NEC4 PSC contracts (particularly Options A and E).
• Proven ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and with senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of environmental consenting and the associated planning regime.
• Possession of or working towards project management qualifications, notably APM PMQ (support towards chartership available).
• Robust project management skills, including Programme (critical path, dependencies and milestones), Commercial acumen, including financial oversight and budget management, Change management, Health, safety and quality management and leadership
