Job Description
WSP is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for our Geotechnical and Tunneling Team. The successful candidate will perform geotechnical engineering design and analyses, prepare geotechnical memoranda and data reports, and assist with project development and construction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Geotechnical or Tunneling Engineering, or a closely-related field
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
- Extensive knowledge of geotechnical engineering and working knowledge of related disciplines (Structures, Civil, and/or Environmental)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with technical writing, office automation, and discipline-specific design software
- Ability to travel and perform field work
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct
- Upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
