Job Description
Join WSP as a Senior/Principal Bridge Engineer and work on highway bridge engineering projects for clients such as local authorities and private developers. The role involves managing budgets, programmes, and external suppliers, and providing expert advice on highway structures. You will be driving the quality and timeliness of the service and mentoring junior team members.
Requirements
- Supporting a Local Authority client
- Develop and maintain a structures asset management strategy
- Manage statutory inspection programmes
- Plan and deliver maintenance and capital works programmes
- Procure, commission, and manage consultants and contractors
- Act as the authority’s competent person for structural safety
- Manage budgets, prepare business cases, and monitor financial and programme performance
