We are recruiting for a Senior or Principal Utilities Infrastructure Engineer to join our Development team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on technical utilities matters and delivering schemes on budget.
Requirements
- Chartered Engineer or open/working towards Chartered Engineer status
- Civil Engineering Degree, or similar equivalent qualification
- Experience delivering utility connections, diversions and utility infrastructure strategies for small, medium and large schemes in the UK
- Understanding of requirements of Electricity, Gas, Water, and Telecommunications networks owners
- Experience of Multi-utility / iDNO (independent Distribution Network Operators) / ICP (Independent Connection Provider) offerings
- Ability to develop utility demand calculations based on the needs of a Development
- Project experience of large multi-disciplinary infrastructure schemes
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and effectively organise your time between them
- Working knowledge of BIM standards and protocols
- Excellent communication skills
- AutoCAD / Civils 3D experience, or similar software, with 2D drawing and 3D modelling capability
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Ability to communicate technical detail effectively and networking skills
- Must be able to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC)
