WSP USA is seeking a Senior Technical Manager, Environmental Project Management to join their Pacific Northwest Earth and Environment Team. The ideal candidate has experience managing siting and routing, permitting and construction compliance of electric transmission lines and substations, power generation or storage projects, midstream pipelines, mining or federal natural resource assessment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Planning, Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience.)
- 8+ years of professional experience managing environmental impact assessment, licensing, and permitting in Alaska and other western states, preferably related to energy, oil/gas and/or mining infrastructure development and operations
- Extensive knowledge and demonstrated expertise with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and related federal and state laws and regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time for client, project, and internal meetings
