We are seeking a Senior Technician - Revit to prepare structural detail and design drawings for various building and construction types. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience of Revit Structures software, Revit families and AutoCAD, and a good working knowledge of Revit Structures with ability to use all standard functions within Revit Structures.
Requirements
- Prepare structural detail and design drawings for various building and construction types
- Hands on experience of Revit Structures software, Revit families and AutoCAD
- Modelling Concrete and Steel elements in Revit Structures software
- Good working knowledge of Revit Structures with ability to use all standard functions within Revit Structures
- Experience of Reinforcement drawing and rebar detailing
- Experience of working on a number of sized projects
- Good understanding of the role of consultant engineers and how to support this
- Clear understanding of industry standards
- Responsible for Revit and CAD standards, implementation, and enforcement
- Create Revit families in response to project requirements
- Create work sets, work-sharing methodologies in Revit Models
- Project delivery responsibility on agreed schedules
- Creation and maintenance of the software template files to assure standards
- Automate routines to support standards and productivity
- Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all drawings produced
- Assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards
- Produce work to specified WSP in India CAD standards
- Suggest revisions to standards as appropriate
- Flag resource concerns in advance to CAD/BIM manager
- Use templates for CAD/BIM work and use CAD/BIM library items to assist design work
- Follow QA, document control, archiving & CDM guidelines on all work
