Job Description
As a Surface Water Engineer with WSP, you will contribute to industry-leading projects focused on flood resilience, hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater design, and climate change adaptation. You will deliver innovative, sustainable water solutions using the latest modelling tools, technologies, and design approaches.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with postgraduate studies in water resources welcomed.
- 8+ years' experience in water resources or surface water engineering with proven success in delivering high-quality designs and studies.
- Strong background in stormwater management, hydrology, and hydraulic modelling (e.g. RORB, WBMN, XP-RAFTS, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, XP-SWMM/STORM, DRAINS).
- Experience delivering flooding, drainage, dam-break, erosion, and sediment control or water quality assessments across a variety of sectors.
- Proficiency in GIS/CAD tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo, AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in consulting environments with multidisciplinary teams.
- CPEng or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
