Technical Principal - Water Resources

WSP is looking for a Technical Principal - Water Resources to provide technical leadership on water infrastructure projects in New Zealand. The role offers the opportunity to influence complex, strategic projects, mentor future leaders, and strengthen key client relationships.

Requirements

• Provide technical leadership on water infrastructure projects both locally and nationally
• Act as Design Manager and Engineer to Contract on major water infrastructure projects
• Lead and contribute to complex investigations, optioneering, analysis and reporting
• Apply rigorous technical review and verification practices to ensure high-quality outcomes
• Identify, manage and communicate technical risks across projects
• Support and mentor engineers and designers, fostering a strong learning culture
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver trusted, value-driven advice
• Support bids, proposals and business development activities
• Actively contribute to the wider water engineering community and industry forums
