Job Description
The Principal Data Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, building, and evolving scalable data and analytic platforms. They lead the design and evolution of enterprise-scale data platforms, define data engineering standards, and mentor engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering
- Hands-on experience with distributed computing, data warehousing, and big data processing
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and data security
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and technologies such as Databricks, Delta Lake, and Spark
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Strong understanding of database management systems, data processing engines, and data storage systems
