The Associate Controls Engineer position is responsible for controls engineering project requirements involving PLC programming, HMI/SCADA programming, control panel design, instrumentation specification, check-out support, and commissioning assistance.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in engineering or related discipline (Electrical, Chemical, Controls, or Computer Engineering degree preferred)
- 0 - 2 years of directly related experience in process control and manufacturing or information services
- Experience working within an Engineering design/implementation team, both in-office environments and remote work environments
- Professional client relation skills are required
- Exceptional verbal and written ability with the aptitude to communicate professionally with clients and project leadership
- GMP and documentation practice
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- SharePoint experience a plus
- Must have a valid driver's life and ability to travel up to 35%
- Strongly preferred job needs: diverse industry experience in two or more of the following fields: Life Sciences/Pharma, Food & Beverage, Oil and Gas, Water/Wastewater, Chemicals, Discrete Manufacturing, Power Generation Facilities, Building Automation/Management Systems (BAS/BMS)
- Programming skills in Wonderware System Platform, Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Rockwell RSView Factory Talk, Siemens PLC/OIT development in TIA portal
