Control Panel Builder

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering is a 100% employee-owned ESOP and one of the largest and most well-established engineering companies in the United States. The Control Panel Builder position is available in our Eden Prairie, MN location. This position is responsible for controls equipment assembly requirements involving PLC panels, motor control equipment, and instrumentation panels.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience building control panels
• Good employee interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated skill in working effectively with team members
• Familiar with the use of a personal computer for entering timesheets, expense reports, printing wire labels, etc.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Working knowledge of all necessary safety requirements while working in the assembly area
• Skill in identifying “non-standard” designs and recommending suggestions for layout, assembly, etc.
• Basic use of hand tools (i.e., tape measure, square, screwdrivers)
• Basic use of power tools (i.e., drill, jigsaw)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand on feet for long periods of time with standard breaks and lunch as required.
