This leadership role requires strong problem-solving skills, people skills, and business efficiency. As a Controls Engineer, you will conceptualize, detail, and implement control systems for industrial processes and machinery that meet customer requirements.
Requirements
- Deliver innovative automation solutions and design standards
- Conceptualize, detail, and implement control systems for industrial processes and machinery
- Develop a control system architecture, select components, and detail schematic diagrams and system documentation
- Program controllers (PLC), programming the process visualization (HMI/SCADA), and implementing/commissioning the control system at the client’s facility
- Design, detail, and implement a variety of fiber, wired and wireless systems using industrial protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, etc.)
- Work independently and lead a team of engineers and technicians
- Act as technical lead on projects and guide lower-level engineers and technicians
- Act as Project Manager on smaller projects
