Controls Engineer

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical/controls engineering on large scale projects, including control system design, electrical panel design, and system integration. The role requires strong technical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work in a multi-disciplined environment.

Requirements

• Must be organized, technically competent, have effective oral and written communications, experienced in working in a multi-disciplined environment and interfacing with engineers, designers, and drafters
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline with relevant work experience)
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, including design, troubleshooting, and code implementation
• Knowledge of contract documents, specifications, and ASTM standards
• Ability to collect field data, perform system design functions, and travel up to 30% of the time
