Controls - SCADA and OT Engineer

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering is a 100% employee-owned company seeking a Controls - SCADA and OT Engineer to deliver innovative automation solutions and design standards. The ideal candidate has a diverse engineering skillset and experience with HMI/SCADA hardware/software platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science
• 6+ years of experience in controls engineering
• Strong problem-solving ability and well-balanced people skills
• Ability to conceptualize, detail, and implement control systems for industrial processes and machinery
• Knowledge of controller programming languages such as Ladder, Sequential Function Chart, Structured Text, and others
• Experience with industrial networking and protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader
• Proficiency in SQL,.NET, Power BI, Grafana, and APIs
• Experience in design of electrical schematics and control panels
• Ability to travel up to 30%
