Job Description
Join Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, a 100% employee-owned ESOP and one of the largest and most well-established engineering companies in the United States, as an Electrical Designer in our Chesterfield, MO office. This role is responsible for drafting and documenting electrical projects in AutoCAD and AutoCAD 3D, working closely with the CAD Lead to produce CAD deliverables.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Computerized Drafting field
- 5+ years of experience with knowledge of electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards
- Thorough understanding of AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, training, procedure development, deployment, and support
- Experience in CAD best practices
- Proficient working knowledge of current modeling applications software
- Fluency in Autodesk Navisworks and AutoCAD Electrical
- Knowledge of NEC Electrical Code
- Understanding of 3D coordination with other trades
- Fluency in reading 2D plans and importing documents into AutoCAD and AutoCAD 3D projects
- Skills in creating simple parametric families, utilizing shared parameters, creating schedules, and creating complex geometry
