Performs diagnostic CT procedures within the CT Department utilizing specific equipment for that purpose. Rotates through diagnostic radiology as assigned. Involved in the practice of radiation and general safety at all times.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program
- Radiography certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) within 6 months of hire
- Current or temporary Radiography license as required by state board where services will be provided
- Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire
- State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas
