Accounting Expert - Technical Accounting

As a Technical Accounting Subject-Matter Expert, you will apply deep technical accounting and professional practice experience to support the development of xAI’s next-generation artificial intelligence systems. You will contribute rigorous technical accounting analysis, clear written explanations, and sound professional judgment that help train AI models to address complex, non-routine accounting issues.

Requirements

• Experience in technical accounting, audit, or accounting advisory roles within a public accounting firm or specialized accounting advisory practice, with exposure to complex GAAP and SEC-reporting environments.
• Demonstrated ability to research and apply U.S. GAAP and other authoritative guidance to non-routine or judgment-intensive accounting issues.
• Strong written communication skills in English, with the ability to document accounting conclusions clearly and logically.
• Proficiency in navigating authoritative accounting resources, including FASB Codification, SEC EDGAR, public-company filings, and accounting policy documentation.
• Strong analytical judgment and the ability to reach defensible accounting conclusions in situations involving ambiguity or incomplete information.
• Interest in applying technical accounting expertise to emerging technologies and AI-driven accounting analysis.
