Distribution Design Engineer

We are seeking a Distribution Design Engineer to join our team at Xcel Energy. As an entry-level position, this role will involve developing technical expertise in a particular area of specialty, with opportunities to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in engineering principles and a desire to contribute to a leading combination electricity and natural gas energy company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from ABET accredited curriculum (or recognized equivalency)
• 0+ years relevant engineering experience
• Ability to demonstrate the unique technical skills and core competencies for this engineering level established & documented by the organization
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Preferred: EIT/FE (Engineer in Training/Fundamentals of Engineering)
