Requirements
- Project management, leadership and coordination for one or more projects or project work streams
- Overall project scope, schedule, cost and risk management
- Leading team to achieve approved project scope
- Developing strategic sequencing and detailed milestone schedules
- Project-level cost tracking and reconciliation
- Coordination of development of detailed cost estimates, schedules and associated project RFP's, RFQ's, contracts, etc.
- Leading projects through all internal and external processes
- Managing the project scope, schedule and closely planning and managing all project costs
- Ensuring availability or seeking out adequate resources for projects
- Preparation and production of project management reports, timelines, budgets, and documentation
- Independent management and building of project plan deliverables on smaller projects and contribution to larger projects
- Tracking of large project plans
- Identifying plan gaps and developing closure plans
- Ensuring the successful completion of assigned project deliverables and milestones in a dynamic/complex environment
- Assistance with management of project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and actuals tracking
- Support of RFP and contract management processes
- Review of actuals versus planned budget during project life cycle to identify deviations, research reason for deviation and recommend corrective action
- Timely project closure, payment and reconciliation
- Management of resources, both internal and external
- Management of assigned contracts and associated payments and performance requirements
- Management of a comprehensive resource plan for a matrixed team of diverse talent to maximize skills and minimize cost
- Definition of deliverables and required delivery dates
- Facilitation of the involvement of all key stakeholders in requirements gathering and planning process
- Development of solution design that encompasses the entire project scope, and secure all required approvals (internal, external, etc.)
- Development of viable work plans/WBS, milestone schedules, and project cost/benefit estimates
- Management of project scope change process
- Identification of risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle steps and assistance in creation of mitigation strategies and contingency plans
- Communication of project status to all levels of the organization
- Establishment of effective, collaborative working relationships to maximize project efficiency, responsiveness and resource allocation
