Sr. Supply Chain Sourcing and Contracting Specialist, Capital Projects

Xcel Energy is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Sourcing and Contracting Specialist to develop, manage and execute large-scale engineering, procurement, & construction (EPC), engineered equipment, and construction services contract project sourcing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related technical/analytical field, and 5 years of advanced contracting, sourcing, or logistics experience. The company offers a comprehensive portfolio of energy-related products and services to 3.4 million electricity and 1.9 million natural gas customers across eight Western and Midwestern states.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related technical/analytical field.
• 5 years of advanced contracting, sourcing, or logistics experience.
• Project management experience required.
• Expert contract knowledge, negotiation and project management skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and significant experience with purchasing and sourcing systems is required.
