Vaultman Cableman -Denver, CO

Xcel Energy is looking for a Vaultman Cableman in Denver, CO. The position involves construction, maintenance, and emergency repairs of underground network systems. The candidate should be self-motivated, have a positive attitude, and commit to work safely. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 4 years of experience as a certified cable splicer mechanic or completed approved 4-year apprenticeship, and a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class A. The starting base pay is $62.81 per hour.

Requirements

• Construction and maintenance of underground network systems
• Troubleshooting and repairing underground network circuits and equipment
• Performing all associated tasks with the construction and maintenance of underground facilities
• Working in inclement weather for extended hours
• Traveling throughout the system in cases of emergencies and storms to restore the system
