Job Description
The Regional Medical Affairs Director (RMAD) is responsible for developing and enhancing professional relationships with key thought-leaders, institutions, and organizations in their assigned geographical region. They provide medical and scientific support to healthcare stakeholders, collaborate on medical and education initiatives, and maintain clinical/scientific expertise.
Requirements
- Fostering mutually collaborative relationships with institutions, Centers of Excellence, thought leaders (TLs) and key decision makers
- Providing medical information through scientific exchange and clinical/scientific support
- Delivering medical presentations to diverse healthcare professional (HCP) audiences
- Maintaining cross-functional collaboration with internal & external field teams
- Obtaining, assimilating, organizing, and reporting competitive and scientific intelligence
- Attending & participating in medical/scientific meetings and conferences
- Contribute to internal training for headquarter- and field-based teams
- Collaborating with TLs and Xeris Medical Communications to support the development of publications
- Participate in assigned Medical Affairs projects, initiatives, and activities
- Performing and completing administrative responsibilities
