Job Description
Assist the provider in the examination and treatment of patients, following established standards and practices, and ensure patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Greets patients in the waiting area
- Obtains patient history
- Explains treatment procedures
- Positions instruments and equipment
- Administers injections and medications
- Performs diagnostic tests
- Performs CLIA-waived lab tests
- Ensures preparation for pick-up and shipment
- Removes sutures and/or staples
- Completes medical chart
- Performs patient callbacks
- Monitors disposable inventory
