Job Description
Extreme Reach is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team in Budapest. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning North America general ledger close activities, reconciliations, and variance checks, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal controls.
Requirements
- Post routine journals and prepare bank reconciliations
- Prepare documentation and respond to audit requests under supervision
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts
- Perform intercompany reconciliations, eliminations and fixed asset accounting
- Execute monthly close journals (including intercompany, FX, fixed assets)
- Validate payroll and other inputs into GL
- Perform variance checks and basic P&L commentary
- Assist with preparation and review of financial statements and variance analysis
- Support annual audit requests and issue resolution
- Prepare documentation for audits and respond to queries
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Manage responsibilities for the United States and Canada
