Senior Payroll Manager

XTL Group of Transport Companies is looking for a Payroll Practitioner with a strong work ethic and a positive team attitude. The Payroll Practitioner is responsible for payroll processing, payroll controls, and being a compliance expert and liaison between Payroll and HR.

Requirements

• Subject matter expert in payroll Compliance & Regulations with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), Labour Canada, and Provincial regulations.
• In-depth understanding of federal legislation, labour standards, and payroll procedures
• Canadian Payroll Association Certification or similar certification required.
• Knowledge and experience in working in payroll systems – must have experience in WFN – ADP (minimum 2 years).
• Experience in reviewing multiple payroll cycles and multiple company codes in a larger or mid-size organization.
• Strong Excel and data management skills
• Experience with interdepartmental groups including HR, and operations, and some management experience in payroll is a bonus.
