Job Description
XTX Markets, a leading algorithmic trading firm, is seeking a Research Technology Developer to join their HPC cluster. This role focuses on developing and maintaining the cluster's core software infrastructure, particularly its performance and scalability. The team works across multiple locations globally and is driven by passionate mathematicians and computer scientists focused on large-scale data processing and AI technologies. The company emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and a non-hierarchical work culture.
Requirements
- A solid grounding in academic CS fundamentals (algorithms and data structures).
- Proficient in at least one statically typed language; development with be using Golang and Rust though experience in these is not a pre-requisite.
- Approximately 5-10 years’ experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with the Linux operating system.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
