Job Description
Join Y. Hata's Transportation Department as a Container Hauler (Night Drayager Driver). The position involves picking up and delivering containers from various ports and warehouses on the island of O'ahu. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required, as well as the ability to safely operate various types of trucks and equipment. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package offered.
Requirements
- One year of Drayage, Container hauling experience
- Possess familiarity with Pasha, Matson, Young Brothers, local roadways, townships within the area
- One year experience of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in food service
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A)
- Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (PUC Card)
- Clean driver’s history
- Ability to obtain TWIC
- Ability to successfully complete in-house Pallet test and forklift certification test
- Ability to read road signs, building numbers, and maps
