Direct Support Professional - DSP 1

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) 1 role at YAI supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing emotional support, building relationships, and facilitating activities to enhance quality of life. The role involves supervising, protecting, and caring for individuals, as well as implementing individualized service and behavior support plans. The DSP 1 works in a team environment, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and utilizes approved YAI and OPWDD training techniques to respond to challenging behavior.
