Job Description
We are seeking a Social Worker (MSW) to work with students and families in our Education Services department. The ideal candidate will have a current license as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and at least one year of experience in a school setting. The Social Worker will provide comprehensive social history and psychosocial assessments, provide counseling and crisis management services, and advocate for students and families with community-based organizations and government agencies.
Requirements
- Current license and registration as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
- At least one (1) year of experience in a school setting, ideally performing social work-related duties with individuals and families
- Must be well organized with superior attention to detail and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
