Teacher- Special Education

Teach a classroom of school-aged children with brain-based disabilities and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities. Prepare lessons, provide instructional support, and collaborate with therapy teams. Communicate with parents and involve them in their child's progress.

Requirements

• Current certification and registration as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities
• Bachelor's degree in education or a closely related field
• Two years of experience in childcare, social services, healthcare, and/or other school-based role
• Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
• Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and meet deadlines
