We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to prospect and engage customers in an exclusive and protected sales territory, developing new business within an assigned territory as well as retaining and developing business with existing customers.
Requirements
- Prospect, develop and close new business with new and existing customers.
- Meet or exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts.
- Regularly travel to perform customer consultations to determine needs and solutions, and obtain detailed information for estimates and proposals
- Maintain involvement on turnkey projects, demonstrations and other related customer projects to meet deadlines and budgets
- Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines presented by the company
- Utilize Salesforce.com (CRM) for all prospecting and customer activities
