Job Description
Join the YES Prep team as a Literacy Specialist Teaching Assistant. Assist classroom teacher with supervision of students, behavior management, and data maintenance. Work one-on-one with students and support classroom objectives.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Current Educational Aide certification or minimum of two years of post-secondary education
- Belief in and commitment to the mission and core value of YES Prep Public Schools
- Openness to giving and receiving frequent feedback
- Ability to maintain emotional control under stress
- Ability to work urgently in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and initiatives at once
