Job Description
Join YES Prep as a Middle School Boys Basketball Coach and be part of a mission that impacts the life trajectory of students and their families. As a coach, you will organize practices and games, monitor student athletes' academic progress, and prioritize academics over athletics.
Requirements
- Organizing practices and games
- Monitoring the academic progress of student athletes
- Issuing and collecting uniforms
- Providing an orientation of a sound program to all student athlete participants
- Communicating with coaches and athletic director
- Realizing the athlete is a student first
- Practicing with a plan and purpose
- Training each student-athlete to become in the best physical condition as possible
- Staying with the team, at all times, until the last student-athlete and their parents/guardians
- Collecting athlete documentation
- Additional duties as assigned
