Job Description
YES Prep is seeking a Special Education Inclusion Teacher to join our team at YES Prep Southeast Elementary. The ideal candidate will have experience with Life Skills programming, a valid Texas Educator Special Education Certification, and a commitment to the mission and core values of YES Prep Public Schools.
Requirements
- Experience with Life Skills programming or similar settings
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- At least 3 years of exemplary Special Education teaching experience
- Outstanding record of student achievement results
- Hold a valid Texas Educator Special Education Certification
- Hold a valid Texas Educator Certification in Core Content
- Belief in and commitment to the mission and core value of YES Prep Public Schools
- Openness to giving and receiving frequent feedback
- Demonstrated ability to work on a team
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and initiatives at once
- Ability to maintain emotional control under stress
