Job Description
YES Prep is seeking a Special Education Self-Contained Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Life Skills programming, a Bachelor's degree, and at least 3 years of exemplary Special Education teaching experience. The role involves guiding Life Skills teachers towards success, developing and executing the vision for Alternate Instruction, and supporting student achievement through classroom culture and management. Requirements
- Experience with Life Skills programming or similar settings
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- At least 3 years of exemplary Special Education teaching experience
- Outstanding record of student achievement results
- Hold a valid Texas Educator Special Education Certification
- Hold a valid Texas Educator Certification in Core Content
- Belief in and commitment to the mission and core value of YES Prep Public Schools
- Openness to giving and receiving frequent feedback
