Senior Software Engineer (US)

YipitData is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of hands-on software development experience and a proven track record of shipping customer-facing applications. They will be responsible for owning features and systems end-to-end, designing systems that are clean and maintainable, and working with stakeholders to translate business problems into shipped software.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Proven track record of shipping customer-facing applications
• Stack-flexible: comfortable working across Python, TypeScript/React, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Databricks)
• AI-accelerated workflow: actively using AI coding tools to ship faster
• Strong communicator who can work directly with non-technical stakeholders
• Responsive and reliable: taking ownership of production systems and communicating proactively
• Bias toward action and ownership: seeing a problem, fixing it; seeing an opportunity, shipping it
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related technical discipline
