Job Description
Young Management & Consulting (YMC) is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to support electric utility infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will provide analytical and administrative support to project managers, construction teams, and financial stakeholders to ensure projects remain on budget, on schedule, and within defined scope.
Requirements
- Minimum Experience: Experienced
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 15+ years of hands-on Project Controls experience supporting electric or gas utility projects.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, macros preferred).
- Experience with SAP, Primavera P6, Power BI, Oracle Unifier, or comparable systems.
- Strong understanding of project accounting and utility financial frameworks.
- Professional Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities.
