Job Description
The Preschool Teacher at the Sarah & Richard Hardy Center for Child Development is responsible for the development and implementation of curriculum to support children's social, cultural, educational, physical, and emotional growth. The role involves classroom supervision, lesson planning, parent communication, and maintaining program records. The position includes a brief schedule of 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Meets qualifications established by DEEC and QRIS.
- Associates degree preferred or enrollment in a college degree program.
- Must obtain current certification in CPR, First Aid and Child Abuse Prevention within first 3-6 months of employment provided by the Y.
- Experience working with children in a developmental setting is preferred.
