Preschool Teacher (Part-Time)

We are seeking a part-time Preschool Teacher to join our Early Childhood Education team at the Greendale Family Branch in the Wee Wuns Preschool Program.

Requirements

• EEC certified preschool teacher
• Support the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson/activity plans
• Implement curriculum developed by the Wee Wuns Coordinator in partnership with the Lead Teacher
• Assist with classroom management, ensuring a safe, positive, and inclusive environment
• Supervise children in both indoor and outdoor settings, including swimming and playground activities
• Help with child observations, documentation, and assessments as needed
• Communicate positively and professionally with parents and families
• Assist with maintaining attendance, health, and safety records
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and YMCA family/community events
• Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor
• Weekly Swimming
