Preschool Teacher's Assistant (Part-Time)

Preschool Teacher's Assistant will assist in setting up and implementing daily curriculum, performing housekeeping chores, and providing a quality experience to children.

Requirements

• Has knowledge of and maintains NAEYC and DEEC standards.
• Assists classroom teacher in implementing daily lesson/activity plans.
• Greet parents and children, interacts with children, and makes observations.
• Maintains classroom and equipment.
• Change and feed children, supervise outdoor play, handwashing, and toileting.
• Is flexible to schedule changes, attends and participates in family nights, staff meetings, staff training, and YMCA special events.
• May be required to work in other classrooms, based on staffing needs.
