Job Description
Greendale Family Branch YMCA is hiring year-round Swim Instructors to teach swimming skills and technique to a variety of ages. Instructors are responsible for creating a safe environment and maintaining a strong pool. Schedule flexibility is offered. Application submitted with interview availability.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old
- Can swim 300 yards continuously with breath control
- Can swim 20 yards on the back, surface dive, to 7-10 feet and retrieve a 10-pound object
- Must hold Swim Instructor certification or be willing to earn certification
- Must be comfortable with tread water and back/side swimming
