Job Description
The YMCA of Delaware is seeking a FT- ECE Teacher Assistant for its Early Learning Academy in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a CDA or TECE I & II certification, and experience working with children birth through second grade.
Requirements
- Supervise children, classroom, and activities as assigned
- Provide daily care for children including diapering, toileting, feeding, and supporting social/emotional needs
- Encourage, engage, and support children in all classroom activities
- Implement positive behavior management techniques
- Assist in planning, implementing, and participating in daily age-appropriate classroom activities
