Job Description
The Day Camp Counselor position is responsible for delivering a quality day camp experience for children, ensuring their safety and growth in spirit, mind, and body. The position involves implementing weekly lesson plans, engaging children in activities, and maintaining a safe and positive environment.
Requirements
- Effectively implement weekly lesson plans
- Actively engage children in activities
- Ensure safety by enforcing aquatic rules and policies
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, absenteeism, and incidents
- Characterize a positive role model
- Attend designated trainings and scheduled day camp trainings
- Demonstrate good time keeping and punctuality
